Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns.
Wow finally, nearly 10 years after Lauren Weisberger penned her bestselling novel, The Devil Wears Prada, she’s giving it a sequel. Weisberger is in the process of writing Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns, to be published by Simon & Schuster in April 2013.
The new book catches up with former Runway assistant-to-the-editrix Andy eight years after she’s parted ways with her demanding boss Miranda Priestly. Though Andy is now the editor of a bridal magazine, she’s still “haunted” by ‘Ice Queen’ Priestly (famously inspired by Vogue’s EIC), to whom Weisberger was once a real-life assistant. Sounds like Anna Wintour’s mind-controlling abilities last longer than we could’ve imagined.
There’s no film sequel in the works just yet but wouldn’t we give anything to see Anne, Meryl, Emily and Stanley Tucci back at it in their TDWP roles?

Big, furry hats at the beach? I wouldn’t expect anything less from Marc Jacobs and his long-time ad campaign photographer Juergen Teller. The Fall 2012 images feature Marie Piovesan and Marte Mei van Haaster rocking the Stephen Jones toppers that went down the runway last February.

As Warner Bros already took the official trailer of The Carrie Diaries offline due to whatever it is, this was the only fanmade video I could find untill now, which gives away some sneak peeks. So enjoy this for a moment, while I continue my quest looking for the official trailer.
Btw, we’ll probably have to wait a little longer for the pilot, cause the airdate is still to be discovered. One thing is for sure, the show will undoubtedly influence fashion in 2012/2013.

Although Miley Cyrus didn’t win an award, she did steel the show on the Billboard Awards!
She made an appearance on the red carpet without any pants on, but only with what seems to be a long white vest. Immediately a lot of haters posted not so nice comments about this outfit, although the opinions seem to differ from ugly to ultimately stylish.
I have to admit, I like the outfit, it has some chique over it, it’s sexy, but still classy. And the white goes perfect with her bronzed skin.

Etro Resort 2013 is an exercise in bright color and engineered patterns. The shapes were kept simple, with a bit of layering here and there (some drapey blouse+jacket combos) but most of the focus kept on the vibrant patterns. Not quite groundbreaking, but still a solid offering for the brand.

Miley Cyrus stylestory.
Miley was spotted this week in head-to-toe American Apparel, including the dark denim washed Easy Jean. She looks so skinny in it! Would it look that good on other people too? At least American Apparel is saying so.

I like the fact that she kept the rest of the outfit simple, but that she squeezed in some colors with her shoes. Love it Miley!
